Puppy Training
Yes, I will still see puppy training clients when I can! It’s so important to utilize the early developmental stages to set your puppy up for success. While many people think puppy training is the beginning of obedience only, there’s so much more that goes into it.

Socialization is imperative for puppies - not just exposure to new places, new people, and new things, but also having a positive or at minimum a neutral experience with everything new. Developing acceptance and resiliency early on builds the foundation for a well rounded adult.
So while yes, we do focus on the regular “puppy problems” we also want to focus heavily on preventing aggression, fear, and anxiety to the best of our ability as well. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
Puppy training includes but is not limited to:
Socialization
Preventing aggression
Body handling
Crate training
Independence training
House training
Leash training
Playbiting
Chewing
Get a head start and learn how to set up your interactions and daily routines to raise the most well rounded puppy possible with proper socialization, preventative measures, and the beginnings of basic training. All of this prepares you to make it to adulthood successfully.

PRO TIP
Many people think that puppy training is only for small, very young puppies. But depending on the size that your dog will be as an adult, social maturity (the true onset of adulthood) may not occur until 2-3 years of age. So keeping the mindset and focus on training for the first few years of life (versus just thinking that it’s for the first few months) will prevent a lot of frustration.
